002 – Marty’s Wisconsin Beer Brats

Marty’s Wisconsin Beer Brats

Recipe by Marty Made It

Ingredients

2 Yellow Onions

2 Red Onions

2 Large Nectarines or 3 small ones

1 Party Pack of Johnsonville Original Brats  (12 links)

6 Pack of Miller High Life Beer

Directions

Give the onions and nectarines a rough chop and place into a large 8 quart stock pot. Poke each sausage with a toothpick four times on two sides and place in pot. Pour beer over sausage, onion, and nectarines until covered. Place on stove and turn heat to medium high. Bring to a boil and then turn down to simmer for one hour. Remove brats from pot and grill until a wonderful color is achieved. Enjoy on your favorite bun and condiments. I prefer mine on a pretzel bun topped with brown mustard and sour kraut.
