Kuurdak is typically made from sheep’s liver, kidney, heart and lungs. Variations of this dish may use: mutton, beef or chicken. This is a very simple and satisfying dish using beef.
1 green pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons tomato puree
1 cup water
Brown the beef in 2 tablespoons of oil.
Slice up the onion, green pepper and cabbage.
When the meat is done add all the other ingredients to the pan.
Partly cover with a lid and simmer for about 30-40 minutes until all the vegetables are soft and most of the liquid is absorbed.
